Thanks to extensive optional equipment and Original BMW Motorrad Accessories, you can turn the bagger into exactly the bike you want. Optionally benefit from the Comfort Package and Tour Package. The comfort package features Keyless Ride and Shift Assist Pro – for even more relaxed cruising. The Tour Package, for example, impresses with the audio system 2.0 or comfortable footboards. We have put together two equipment variants to inspire you.

DESIGN CODE – TYPICALLY BAGGER

The K 1600 B is proof that you can swim against the tide if things are streamlined. The elongated, typical bagger outline with its low rear section combines an elegant, casual character with a powerful presence. The entire bike has been fully geared towards you and your perfect tour: from things that are immediately obvious, such as the footboards, to the equipment you can only experience once you have taken a seat, such as the cockpit. It demonstrates a completely new design idiom: clear-cut and functional. The 10.25" TFT color display now even features a hardened and anti-reflective cover lens for optimum readability. The K 1600 B leaves everything to you when it comes to experiencing the trip, yet nothing happens by chance.

SUPERIOR SIX-CYLINDER IN-LINE ENGINE

Can you measure a casual character in numbers? You can with the K 1600 B: thanks to its revamped engine control unit, it now develops the 160 hp nominal power an impressive 1,000 rpm earlier than before, while the increased maximum torque of 132.7 lbs-ft is already available at 5,250 rpm: for even more intensity, superior tractive force and a more powerful appearance. For every straight line, every overtaking maneuver, every bend – or just for you. In keeping with this, the Ride Modes have now been designed to be even more emotional, with the engine drag torque control (dynamic engine brake control) and Dynamic ESA providing the necessary stability. And all of this is as casual to handle as it sounds.

We understand that a used BMW motorcycle for sale may not be your first choice when thinking of buying a bike. But before you splash out on the latest, state-of-the-art models, check out why a second-hand machine may be a better option for you.

Save Money

Used motorcycles are less expensive than brand-new ones. Choosing a 12-month-old model instead of a new bike can save you thousands of dollars. With a used model, you won’t have to pay extra costs like registration and road tax since the previous owner would have covered all the additional expenses. Plus, you will save on insurance, as this cost is typically based on the vehicle’s purchase price.

Used Motorcycles Are Great for Learning

If you are looking for a bike to learn on, a used motorcycle is also a better option than a new one. Chances are that you will drop your machine many times before you get the hang of bike riding. So, you will be less worried about scratches if your motorcycle costs $5000 rather than $20,000. You may also want to buy a more powerful bike once you complete your training, so it will be better to spend less on your first motorcycle and start saving up for its replacement.

Make a More Informed Purchase

Second-hand motorbikes have been around for a longer period of time than new ones. This means that more people have tested and used these old models. So, you are more likely to find more reviews and other helpful information about your preferred used bike than if you are buying a brand new one.

Get Free Upgrades

A lot of riders like to personalize their motorcycles to their taste. So, they fit their machines with aftermarket accessories to enhance their look, safety, and performance. When you buy a used motorbike from a previous owner, you will also get all these upgrades, usually at no extra cost. So you will not have to go through the hassles of looking for compatible accessories and installing them on your motorcycle.

Better Return on Value

Although all vehicles reduce in value once they leave the showroom, new motorcycles depreciate more quickly than used ones. A brand-new bike loses half of its value within five years of purchase. So, if you intend to sell your machine in the future, you are more likely to receive a better return on your pre-owned model than if you purchase a new one.
